About

Why blog?  Why not–when it seems empty-headed photo op’d people as well as profound, humorous, maddening, and inspiring people are sharing their thoughts and opinions with others.  I have been blogging now for about 18 months as I re-write this section.  I’m still not sure where this journey is taking me, but I am trying some new writing experiments this year of 2010.

I hope you are entertained, learn a little, become exasperated sometime, and share your comments to help me in my passage.  Don’t go through life silent–have an opinion!

I work for myself, enjoy  horseback riding, biking, taking pictures, travel, writing, spending time with my husband and three children, and continue to enjoy new adventures.  This is still one of them.

  1. Seven Minute Peace.
How lucky you are to recognize and absorb that time each day. I don’t have a daily “seven minutes”, however each week I get two hours on Sunday morning! While Brad takes the kids to Sunday school, I wait in bed until I hear the garage door close. With that I pop out of bed to not miss a minute of my time!! Usually coffee comes first, then the newspaper. I carefully dole my time out between relaxing and giving the house a fresh cleanup. Once warm weather arrives, it will be breakfast on the patio with the paper. Phone calls are ignored between 8:45 and 10:45 Sunday mornings, but you know where I’ll be!!
I really enjoyed your blog. Clearly writing is cathartic to you. Thanks for sharing!!
